Bogotá, Colombia — working in your hours

One partner for everything your company runs on.

Custom software, manual work automated, AI put to real use, and security that actually holds. We design it, build it and look after it — with one person accountable for the result, instead of three vendors pointing at each other.

45 minutes, free, no obligation. You leave with a written diagnosis whether you hire us or not.

From idea to product

Someone describes an idea; we hand back something their users open every week.

Off paper, onto a screen

Processes that lived in spreadsheets and WhatsApp, turned into a system with an audit trail.

After an incident

Cloud accounts recovered, locked down and documented so the owner can re-check them.

01 — Start where it hurts

Tell us which of these is yours.

You don't need to know what your problem is called, or which technical box it belongs in. Nearly everything that reaches us starts as one of these five sentences.

I have an idea, but nobody to build it.

Product engineering. From the napkin sketch to something live: the app, the database, the user accounts, the emails and the place it runs. Without you hiring a team.

My team loses hours every week to the same manual work.

Automation & AI. We find the work that repeats to a rule, move it to a system — or an AI agent — and leave the judgement with your people. Exceptions always escalate back to a human.

I don't know if we're secure, and I'd rather find out before someone else does.

Cyber security. A review of your cloud and your access, written in language you can take to a board: what's open, what happens if someone gets in, and the order to fix it in.

The cloud bill grows every month and nobody really knows why.

Cloud & operations. We find out what you're paying for, switch off what nobody uses, right-size what stays, and leave alarms so it never creeps back quietly.

Something's broken and I don't know who to call.

Any other IT challenge. Mail that doesn't arrive, a site that's down, a domain about to expire, an integration that broke, a supplier who left and took the passwords. If it's technical, start by asking.

02 — The four things we do

Four disciplines, one person to call.

Most jobs touch two or three of these at once. That's exactly why they live under one roof.

01

Software & product

Web apps, internal tools, portals and APIs — built to last, not to demo.

  • Web apps that work as well on a salesperson's phone as on a director's laptop.
  • Internal tools that replace the shared spreadsheet nobody dares touch any more.
  • Client portals, dashboards, automatic reports, and APIs to connect what you already use.
  • Databases designed so the data is still correct three years from now.
02

Automation & applied AI

AI that does work, not AI that makes conversation. And plain automation when that's the honest answer.

  • Agents wired into your mail, calendar, accounting or Slack that carry repetitive tasks end to end.
  • Documents and PDFs that turn themselves into rows in a sheet or a database.
  • Reports that build and send themselves, on time, without anyone remembering.
  • One explicit boundary: anything needing judgement escalates to a person, and the escalation is recorded.
03

Cyber security

Saying what's wrong and how to fix it. No blame, and no fear-selling.

  • A review of your cloud account: permissions, over-powered access, open doors, and backups nobody ever tested.
  • Real access control: every person and system with the least they need, and a record of who did what.
  • Incident response: contain it, understand the blast radius, close the way in, and write it down.
  • Monitoring and alarms that reach a human on the channel they already watch.
04

Cloud & IT operations

Making it run, making it cost what it should, and making sure someone notices if it stops.

  • AWS design and migrations: off a server under a desk, or off a platform charging too much, onto something that scales.
  • Cost reduction with the numbers in front of you: what gets switched off, what gets resized, what it saves.
  • Domains, DNS, certificates and email — the boring plumbing that takes companies down when it expires.
  • Backups that actually restore, because we test them.
03 — Why a generalist

Problems don't respect job titles.

A slow website is almost never "a frontend problem". It's usually a missing database index, a badly set cache header and a wrongly sized server — three specialisms and one symptom.

Hire three specialists and you get three calendars, three contracts, and a fair amount of conversation about whose part it is. We cross those lines inside one head, which is where they get crossed fastest.

Knowing a bit of everything isn't the same as staying shallow: it means recognising what a problem actually is before spending a month heading the wrong way. And when a job genuinely needs a deep specialist, we say so and bring one in.

Colombia, not "offshore". We're in Bogotá: the same clock as New York, Miami and Toronto all year round — no daylight-saving drift — and Spain's afternoon lands in our morning. We work in English and Spanish, both every day. Our rates reflect where we live, not what we can do: you get senior work without a US or European agency's markup on top.

One accountable person You always talk to the person doing the work. No account manager in the middle relaying what the engineer said.
Access is yours from day one Accounts, domains and code are created in your name. If you leave tomorrow you take nothing with you, because it was already yours.
Small jobs welcome There's no minimum engagement. A one-day fix is a perfectly sensible way to try us.
Written in business language Everything we hand over can be read in a management meeting without a technical translator.
04 — Real work

Four engagements, told straight.

No borrowed logos and no inflated numbers. This is work we've done, marked for what's finished and what's still under way.

Idea to product

He had an idea for his league. His players open it every week.

A padel tournament organiser was running match days on a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group. We built the whole product: database, user accounts, one-link invitations, round-robin pairing, live scoring, statistics, automatic emails and hourly backups. Spanish and English from day one.

Live, and genuinely used every week.

Manufacturing — in progress

Taking a steel shop off spreadsheets and onto a tablet.

A steel fabricator was tracking projects by hand: bill of materials, goods in, in fabrication, ready to assemble, dispatch. We're building the board that records each step in two taps and leaves a trail of who changed it, alongside AI assistants wired into their mail, calendar and accounting.

Assistants in place; the production board is being built.

Security

After an intrusion, an account that can't be turned against you.

We took over an AWS account after an unauthorised access. We found that containers on one machine could reach the metadata service and mint administrator credentials — anyone who got into a container got the whole account. We closed it, turned on session recording, cut standing admin permissions, and left a written checklist the owner can re-run without us.

Way in closed. Review documented and repeatable.

Cost & infrastructure

Fourteen sites, and a monthly fee that stopped.

A hosting platform was charging a paid plan every month for a set of sites that could be served for cents. We migrated all fourteen to AWS — storage, CDN and functions — moved the DNS, kept every URL working, preserved the forms and the password-protected areas, and turned on transfer lock across the domains.

Monthly fee gone. Zero downtime, zero broken links.

Client names aren't published without their permission. On the call we'll put you in touch with references who can tell you what working with us was like.

05 — How we work

You can get off at the first stop.

The risk of hiring someone new is concentrated at the start, so that's where we take it out: the audit costs nothing and the first deliverable is small and dated.

Auditfree Firstdeliverable Buildin weeks All of itin your name you can stop here — no cost, no lock-in
Step 01

The audit, free

Forty-five minutes. You show us the problem; we come back with what we'd do, in what order, and what we're worried about — written down, no jargon. It's yours whether you hire us or not.

Step 02

One small first piece

We agree one concrete deliverable with a date and a fixed price, so you judge us on finished work rather than promises. If you're not convinced, it ends there.

Step 03

Building, in the open

Weekly progress where you already look: Slack, WhatsApp, Teams or email. No status reports nobody reads.

Step 04

Yours, stay or go

Documentation, access and code in your name from the start. We'll keep looking after it if you want — and if you don't, you leave without asking our permission.

06 — What people ask

The awkward questions, answered.

What does it cost?

Every job is scoped and quoted before it starts, and the audit that produces the quote is free. We don't publish a price list because a production tracking system and a broken email setup have nothing in common.

What we can tell you: because we're in Colombia, a senior hour from us costs a fraction of the same hour at a US or Western European agency. Most quotes surprise people on the low side.

How small a job will you take?

One day. Fixing one concrete thing is the best way to try us without signing anything long, and a fair few long relationships started exactly that way.

We already have an IT person or an agency. Are you a problem?

No. We regularly work alongside in-house teams and existing suppliers — sometimes adding capacity, sometimes taking the part that isn't theirs. What we don't do is compete from the inside or run down whoever came before.

We don't know what we need. Can we still come?

It's the most common case, and it's what the audit is for. Bring us the symptom — "this is slow", "this eats our day", "this worries me" — and the first half hour is turning that into a problem with a name.

What language do you work in?

English and Spanish, both daily and both as working languages: meetings, documentation, code and support. This page is in both for the same reason.

How do you handle our access and our data?

A named account of our own, with the least permission the job needs, revocable by you at any moment without calling us. We never use a real employee's password: it breaks two-factor and destroys the record of who did what.

When we finish, you're left with a written list of what access exists and which of it you can close.

We're not on AWS. Does that matter?

We work with what you already have. AWS is where we're deepest and what we recommend when the choice is open, but most engagements start on an inherited server, on Microsoft 365, or on hosting someone signed up for years ago.

What if you disappear?

It's exactly why the accounts, domains and code are in your name from day one, and why everything we do is handed over documented. Another team should be able to pick it up without speaking to us. That's the test we hold our own work to.

07 — Let's talk

Tell us what's costing you time, money or sleep.

Write it the way you'd say it out loud. It doesn't need to be technical or tidy — a paragraph is enough for us to know whether we can help, and we'll tell you either way, including when the answer is no.
